This is a great demo with lots of potential, I got so determined to master this game that I ended up getting over 10k coins without dying ( I only lost them due to a reset of progress ).

I can agree with xyncht that the enemies could have different walk patterns, and I would also like to mention I found a bug with respawning the boss.  If you defeat the boss then respawn him you can fight him as usual, and if you kill him multiple times and respawn him that's fine also, however, when you are fighting him and you die then the boss will have been despawned and you will not be given the option to respawn him, the only solution being to reload the game.  Nonetheless, I love the game, and small bugs are to be expected at this stage.

Another interesting thing I noticed was the controls, they weren't the usual "WASD" controls, you used a combination of the arrow keys as well as keys such as "S, Z, and X".  While it took me a while to get used to it, it definetely kept the game feeling unique in that aspect.

I'd love to see the game progress and I'm considering helping fund its journey forwards, I hope others see this and consider doing the same.

Awesome demo!  Reminds me a lot of Sekiro's combat system with the balance between stun damage and actual damage. The first boss has been a great deal of fun so far, and I definitely wouldn't say the game is too challenging.

If I were to make a critique, it would mostly be the lack of diversity in the enemy move pools.  There's a fine number of enemies, but they each only have one attack pattern (or, for the archers, two), and I think it would be more fun if most of them had two and 'skilled' opponents had three.  The bosses are fine, though, with the two attack patterns for the miniboss and however many the actual boss has (four I think?  Maybe just three though).

Beat it. I hope there is more soon!

I think the most immediate "issue" that stuck out to me was the punishmentality that the game had, if you died after a good couple minutes of struggling against some mini-boss or after doing some farming, then whoops, you're gonna have to grind back the high order that is this curse or else all of your money is gone.

I get what the game is going for; more incentive to not die, but it just kinda infuriated me and it's really easy to give up and just stop playing the game after a death.

There's a few other issues: you can attack enemies from below, the counter attack doesn't work, but the most important issue (imo) is the arbitrary difficulty.

but, other than that, INCREDIBLY solid game, very satisfying combat, just all over pretty polished.

Also had this lock on me, for...some reason
